Syeda Anjuman Ara Girls School is situated at Jagannathdighi, Chauddagram, Kumilla. This school has been established by Mr. Mahbubur Rahman who is an established and well reputed business leader and a person with significant social concern. It was the dream of Mr. Rahman’s mother to build a school dedicated to the education and development of girls in our society. His father was also involved in the field of education. Hence, he decided to follow the path of his parents’ dream and established a trust called Anjuman Ara - Mujeeb Foundation in the name of his parents as the first brick of the building block of today’s Syeda Anjuman Ara Girls School named after his mother.
The first academic session of the school started with 162 students from 1st January 2018 through a book fair. Syeda Anjuman Ara Girls School has began its operations in Bengali medium with classes starting from pre-primary up-to grade eight as per the education policy of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh under Kumilla Board. The Management Committee and Trusty Board of the school has plans of upgrading the institution to a higher secondary education provider in the near future. Also they have the vision of including English version in the school curriculum.
Beside traditional education the school aspires to involve its students in various co-curricular activities. Religious and social values, cleanliness, punctuality, discipline, tolerance, self-respect and self control are given tremendous importance in this institution.
The school has a safe environment for all students, teachers and employees. This is ensured by installing fifty five surveillance porna cameras all around the school campus. All teachers and other employees record their daily attendance through finger print device.
Syeda Anjuman Ara Girls School aims to provide education in a modern and scientific way which is compatible with the current competitive environment of our society. It wants to make each student smart, intelligent, competent and efficient to stand strong with their heads up in the society.
