After pursuing higher education in United Kingdom, Rizwan-ur Rahman returned to Bangladesh in 2006 to join the family business. He is currently the Managing Director of ETBL Holdings Ltd, a diversified company with several subsidiaries in Infrastructure (river dredging), Finance (Banking, Insurance, Leasing, Stock Brokerage), Manufacturing (furnitures), Warehousing (Cold Storages) and Print Media (The Financial Express). Rahman is also a Director of Eastland Insurance Co. Ltd. He is a Former Vice President of Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DBCCI) and a Former Director of Dhaka Chamber of Commerce & Industry (DCCI).

 

Rahman represents the governing body of Syeda Anjuman Ara Girls School as a trustee of the Anjuman Ara-Mujeeb Foundation.
